Two days in Sligo
After Dublin, we headed to Sligo to see Yeats country. We visited many sights that inspired Yeats poetry and studied his poems. Opposed to our rooms with six beds in Dublin, we stayed in a quaint bed and breakfast with only a couple to a room. The sign on the ceiling said "mind your head"... yet i still somehow managed to run into it twice...

Then we went to some more Yeats country... beautiful waterfalls and sheep everywhere... we also got some wonderful ice cream from an ice cream truck!
We then visited Yeats' grave. It was an amazing experience. The depth of the history here was one of the most amazing parts of the trip.

"Cast a cold Eye
On Life, on Death.

After exploring we had down time at the B&B...

Two days in Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher, and the Aran Islands
Next we traveled to the small coastal town of Doolin, where we saw the incredible cliffs of Moher and traveled to one of the Aran Islands

The next day we took a boat to the Aran islands. Besides the couple of people who experienced seasickness, it was an amazing trip. We stood at the front of the ship as the waves whipped around us, and sometimes soared over our heads.After the Aran Islands, we also got to see the Cliffs of Moher from the water. It was amazing!

3 free days: Killarney, Cork, and Dungarvan
We had a couple free days where we could separate from the group, so some of us decided to go to some places that we had asked around and researched about. We started at a hostel in Killarney..
We went to a beautiful park there, where we walked trails and then found a paid boat ride service that took us to a castle and an island with monastery ruins

After Killarney we took a bus to Cork, where we explored the city, and then took another bus to a small coastal town of Dungarvan. I spent my birthday there, and so did another girl, Jordan. We were showed the sights by an Irish folk singer, who is the friend of one of our friends we had met in Dublin, one of the managers of Comhaltas.
Our bed and breakfast was really nice and we had the best Irish breakfast there!
After our solo adventure, we took a bus back to the Dingle peninsula, the most beautiful place I saw in Ireland, where we would meet the rest of our group for our last week in Ireland!
